The Blue Peter contest, open to 6 - 12 year olds, is part of a wider Royal Mint competition which will see 29 Olympic designs appear on coins. 13th January 2009 Adecco announced as official Recruitment Services Supplier to London 2012 Adecco, a Fortune Global 500 company, will be responsible for the London 2012 Organising Committee's (LOCOG) permanent and temporary recruitment between now and 2012. 14th January 2009 The Boston Consulting Group appointed first Tier Three Provider The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) announced that The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has been chosen as its exclusive Strategic Consulting Provider and will be the first Tier Three provider to London 2012. 15th January 2009 BT sponsors Paralympic World Cup London 2012 partner BT has signed a four year sponsorship to back the Paralympic World Cup - the largest annual international multi-sport competition in the elite disability calendar. 15th January 2009 'Before and after' pictures show Olympic Park progress at halfway point New images have been released today showing the transformation of the Olympic Park at the halfway point between London winning the bid for the 2012 Games in July 2005 and the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games on 27 July 2012. 16th January 2009 Prime Minister visits Olympic Park at halfway point as job boost announced Prime Minister Gordon Brown today visited the Olympic Park site, as new figures released showed that up to 30,000 workers will help build the Olympic Park and Olympic Village over the next few years. 16th January 2009 Olympics 'will have Scots legacy' London 2012 Olympic Games chief Lord Coe has said the Games will leave a lasting legacy in Scotland. They are the third Tier Three supplier to be announced, continuing the momentum of the London 2012 partnership programme. 26th January 2009 Football Competition Manager appointed Rachel Ely has been appointed as the London Organising Committee's Sport Competition Manager for Football at the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
