Aquatics Centre

The Aquatics Centre will occupy the southeast corner of the Olympic Park and is being dubbed as the 'gateway'. The full-fledged indoor swimming facility will have two 50 metre pools - one to be used for competitions and the other for training and warm-ups and a competition diving pool of 25 metres.

Events/Activities

During the Olympic Games 2012, the categories of swimming events to be hosted at this venue will include Swimming, Synchronised Swimming, Diving and Water Polo finals. Aquatics discipline of Modern Pentathlon, too, will be held at the Aquatics Centre.

Swimming competitions for the Paralympic Games will also be held at this venue.
