The events to be held at this venue are Equestrian events (jumping, dressage, eventing), Paralympic Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon. For the pentathlon events a temporary Cross-Country course is being designed for the Greenwich Park which will be set up in 2012. A provisional arena with a capacity for 23,000 spectators will be built in 2012 within the grounds of the National Maritime Museum. The temporary structures will be brought down after the completion of the Olympic and the Paralympic Games.
